Lewandowski: Top 2020 Dems ‘Far to the Left’ of Hillary Clinton, ‘Out of Touch With the Mainstream’

Corey Lewandowski, the former campaign manager for President Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, said the current crop of likely 2020 Democratic presidential challengers will have a tough time appealing to Middle America. “Whether that’s Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Michael Bloomberg, you know the mayor of South Bend, Indiana [Pete Buttigieg], you know there’s going to be a real handful will emerge as the top tier, and you know they are so far to the left,” said Lewandowski, who joined Bold TV to discuss his new book, “Trump’s Enemies: How the Deep State Is Undermining the Presidency.” “They are so out of touch with the mainstream states that they will perform more poorly than Hillary Clinton did,” Lewandowski continued. “That’s difficult to fathom. You have to remember the blow out that Donald Trump had in the election was so significant that he could have lost the state of Florida and still been elected President.
