Dem Congressman Won’t Call to Abolish ICE ‘Unless Somebody Tells Me How We’re Going To Replace it’

As some Democrats call for the dissolution of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency in the wake of chaos on the southern U.S. border, Rep. Tom Suozzi (D-N.Y.) told Bold TV that he can’t support the push without an alternative in place. “I’m not going to be calling for the dissolution of ICE unless somebody tells me how we’re going to replace it,” Suozzi told Bold TV. “Border security is a very real issue in this country, and the problems we’re seeing at the border are because of the fact that the Washington class has not gotten together to solve this problem. There’s a real problem at our borders.
