A common argument among Donald Trump supporters against the growing NeverTrump movement is that by refusing to support Republican Trump in the general election that would mean a win for Democrat Hillary Clinton. But while the two candidates are very different on style, they have many similarities on policy, such that a vote for one essentially equates to a vote for the other.
